This website was created as a class project by the WHS Web Design class during the fall semester of 2002. For a practical application of their classroom experience, they teamed with the City of Winner to create a web site for our municipality.
With the help of the city departments, students worked on the construction and navigation for the web site.
They were responsible for creating the backgrounds, links, and typing in content for the entire site, including photographs, departmental information, and ordinance regulations.
The students spent time researching and assessing other municipal sites, meeting with individual departments, and setting up a basic site for continuity.
Students who worked on this project include: Ryan Audiss, Tyler Bleauchump, Brandon Biggins, Amy Cousins, Jacob Dreyer, Nick Emme, Christopher Farley, Christopher Faubion, Chanteal Hagen, Jamie Heubrock, Ashley Hodge, Megan Kindt, Dustin Klein, Josh Klundt, Will Littau, Taylor Mechaley, Mirranda Nielsen, Brandon Tritle, and Robert Weidner.
As part of their class project, students presented the site to the city staff on January 8, 2003, for their approval.
The
City
of Winner is responsible for maintenance, updates and final composition for all
departmental sites.
