Purpose

The purpose of the jail is to provide a safe and secure environment for those who have been arrested and/or sentenced by the court.

Visiting Hours

  Jail Department

The Jail is staffed with 16 full time corrections officers and 3 part-time. The Police Department provides services to the City of Winner. Our Police Department is staffed with 8 City Officers, 4 Deputies, and a K-9 Unit.

Jail Facility and Services

The jail provides contract services to several counties. These services include prisoner transports, security in courtroom. Contract services are available for in house mental health services, drug and alcohol classes and evaluations. Medications are Pharmacy dosed. Our jail facility is monitored 24/7 with recorded video surveillance. We have a 132 bed facility that is handicap accessible, and has dorm type or isolation cells. The jail was recently remodeled with new additions in 2005.

Jail Contracts

Each county contract can be customized to meet the individual needs of that county. We currently have several county contracts and are able to provide them with the services needed for them. We have beds available for long and short term inmates. We also have transport vehicles available to meet you at your jurisdiction. Federal and county work release programs.
